Following with the Osun state college of Education, Ila Orangun resumption news made by the Osun state Government on October 25th. The state Government has released a press statement today November 3rd, 2016, which stated as follows:

PRESS RELEASE:

The state government of osun has directed that any staff of the Osun state college of Education, ila orangun that fails to report for duty on Monday 7th, November 2016 would be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn his/her service from the college.

The attention of the staff of the college is hereby drawn to the facts that the government had recently benevolently reinstated majority of the earlier disengaged staff of the college in order to put an end to the crisis rocking the institution  in the last few months. However, instead of embracing the act of magnanimity on the part of the government, it has come to the notice of the  government that some disgruntled elements has embarked on a campaign of calumny to dissuade the staff of the college from complying with the legitimate directive of the government for them to report at their duty post with immediacy.

The Government hereby notifies all concerned staff of the immediate stoppage of the payment of salaries and allowances of any staff that fails to report for duty on the said day.

The Government restates that there are laid down rules and regulations guiding industrial relationship and a situation whereby a select few will see themselves as being above the law of the Land can promote anarchy and breakdown of law and order.
