Tips for All New Students 'Freshers' , Be Ossce,ila Or EKSU ( MUST READ )

Today, i will be writing on tips that i think it will be very useful for you new students!  As a new students of Osun State College of Education, ila Orangun , Or Ekiti State University ,Ila Chapter, No matter what programs you are here for, The fact remains that you are studying in Ossce,ila Campus, so don't think you are different from others.

NOTE: Please, Don't mind my Writing Style or the words am using; am neither from English Department nor a Professor.. am just a Tech man. !






Ossce,ila Orangun is a citadel of learning, where the future leaders is been trained. The motto of the college is ACADEMICS, MORAL AND EXCELLENCE ( AME ).

Yes, Ossce, ila is not meant for those who can't endure stress because If i won't lie to you.. Been in Ossce,ila Orangun is like applying for Army form. LOL ! Are you surprised, My brother/ sister, don't be ! Ossce, ila is sweet. Don't entertain any fear. We are here together and we shall all make it out successfully.

Though these may not be your first time of coming down to campus, but still; you are new, you are recognize as freshers and moreover you are a freshman. Reason is because you are yet to be matriculated. Now, without wasting much of our time, let me quickly get down to the real discussion.

As a new students, I will highlight some of the things that will make you succeed in your Academics!


WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR,  "DO THE WORK  '

** Go to class! Seriously, unless you are half dead, go.
If you ever feel like your classes are too difficult to handle, don’t worry, there is always help out there. Most Campus clubs. Also, most Senior Students  are more than happy to help you during weekend hours if you ask them politely. If that doesn’t work,  Come back here and we will tell you where to go!

BE YOURSELF;

** Don’t compare yourself to other students. It is easy to feel lost, especially when it comes to academics. Remember that everyone has unique talents, and you have Three Or four years to cultivate yours.

 TEND TO YOURSELF

** College life is similar to what happens when you get high — i.e., you have a vague idea of your surroundings and forget who you are and where you wanted to go. Don’t make that mistake. It will cost you years.

BE SELF DETERMINED 

** Self determination is believing you can control your own destiny. Self-determination is a combination of attitudes and abilities that lead people to set goals for themselves, and to take the initiative to reach these goals.

SET YOUR GOALS:

** This is one of the most important reason you are in school, don't let any extra curricular activities affect your goals because if it do, it will costs you a whole year to meet up again.
With your goals, this will determine what you  will  likely to become in future, your ambition and your aims must not be affected.

Lastly, My Brothers/ Sisters in the lord ! Oops, sorry . my Brothers/Sisters in the campus, avoid making many friends, Know who you are , where you are from, Avoid keeping bad company. BE WARNED. Many Lucifer are behind you already , they want to partner with you by all means. but you have the opportunity to overcome them and proof who you are to them.
