Hi everyone, Now, to become a Computer Desktop user as stated in the first part of these Article .   You need to know all these highlighted component of desktop below.

1)      Software

2)      Hardware

3)      Component of computer

Having known all these, and what they are used for and made up of. Then you are already a desktop user on your own.

The more you dig your research on the above component, the more you become an expert user every day.

Now to be a professional.  You need to build yourself up in online searching also known as Internet research. You must be internet alright and build up.  Through your online research and findings, you would learn so many things in which this will also help you to solve a problem easily.

HARDWARE:

Computer hardware is a physical parts of a computer system and it can also be described as what you can see and feel at the same time.

Wait, before moving on. Why is it that we usually add system to computer to form a computer System. The reason is that A computer system is where all system components is been connected to the parts i.e a printer, keyboard, mouse, speakers made up a computer system. I think you can now get the real definition of a computer system.

Examples of computer hardware are as follows:

CPU, mouse, keyboard, speakers, pointer , modem e.t.c

2) SOFTWARE:

A computer software is an application been made to perform a certain function on a computer system. Though, A computer software can been categorized into two?

They are:

i)                    System software

ii)                  Application software

System software are the set of programs been made specially for the operating system of a computer system to function successfully.

Examples of system software are Operating system.  Like windows software and others .

Application software are the set of program been made to perform some different task on a computer system.

Examples are, Microsoft Office, Corel Works, Macromedia and other set of application program.

From now, I think you can now see the different between System software and application software.

3. COMPUTER COMPONENTS

What are the components of computer system?

They include;

Keyboard

Mouse

Speakers

 Modem

Monitor

And many more.

I think from now on, you can see the real concepts of Desktop publishing.
