ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

In Osun State college of education Ila Orangun, Strike has been an anthem the students recite yearly. Every students union government and the students are always been faced with this challenge tune they dance to.

Jokingly, it all started this year again and this time, the logged head is not directly between the State Government and our intelligent lecturers. The state government has employ the hands of our innocent management especially the governing council.

A sudden relief of over 70 lecturers of their work by the state government and continues harassment of the lecturers, intimidation of lecturers activist has been the bedrock of this year compulsory holiday. Also our innocent and the governing council ably led by Niyi Akande and professor Isaac Oyewole respectively have also tried their best to put an end to this rift by falsely announcing that the college is still open and academic activities is progressing.

According to the holy book of struggle, Prophet Aluta taught us to make consultation before we confront a problem. The student Union Government led by Com. Adetunbi Abdulmonnan Olamilekan, has taken a bold step in consulting our gallant lecturers and innocent, courageous management and governing council including the State government but it seems the consultation is taken much of our time and delaying the Nigerian Students future.

NOW!!! The entire students of Osun State College of Education Ila Orangun are saying that "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH", we are less concern about how the resolution will occur or take place, what we want to hear is our resumption date and the re-open of our campus for academic activities. The students are out of patient and cannot endure the time wasting strategy employ by both parties anymore, we value our future and we are no longer interested to know the genesis or the revelation of this issue between the management, the academics and non-academics staff union.

We are tired of hearing cock and bull stories and out of patience, we are giving both parties the ultimatum of next week and just a week to resolve the dispute and re-open our campus for academic activities.

Conclusively, we are calling on all, irrespective of organisational, ideological or partisan differences to come together and consolidate on our stand to rescue the future of over ten thousand Nigerian Students.
