Angry Ossce student forward open letter to The college provost, Council Chairman and the college staff.

A student of osun state college of education, ila orangun Osun State forwarded a write-up letter to The college provost, Council Chairman and the college staff... The letter which was forwarded to the WhatsApp school group anonymously by a student was posted below..

"Open Letter to the College Provost, Governing Council Chairman cum his Committee members and the College staff of Osun State college of Education, Ila Orangun.

Dear Sirs and Mas,
It is with high sense of humility that I decide to write this, I am a prolific writer, less sentimental that always base my write-ups on the facts and deep observation of the trends maybe because of I am an advocate of the Rotary International four way tests which I take solace from.
It is on this note that I finally decide to pen something down on the ongoing college crisis which is of great damages to the students, school and immediate community. I will write in a very simple grammar that a common man on the street will understand as this is an open letter that will be for the readership of everyone.
OUR PROVOST (Prof. Oyewole Isaac)
I sincerely salute your courage, doggedness and a devoted driving spirit since you have been put at the helm of affair as the AG. Provost of the college, you have truly shown that you are up to the task. I am not saying this based on fallacies but from a strong access to classified information about your administrative prowess so far. I'm so very convinced that you mean so well for our great citadel of learning with your unprecedented manner of approach right from your day one in office. Series of meetings held with Directors, Dean of faculties, Head of Department, Student Union Government cum the student body at large attested to the fact that you mean so well for us and I must say sixty-five percent of students owe you at high esteem for this.
However, it is highly disheartening to discover that your stands or positions on the college crisis is solely based on some personal misconceptions and mischievous misleading. As the first professor to attain this height we expected the very best but it's so unfortunate we are experiencing the worst as so many records broken.
Is it record as the first provost to engage in a forceful trek with thousands of students when denied to start examinations as at when scheduled? Or the the day-to-day crisis and protest by staff of the college? Or the first provost the aggrieved college staffs will withdraw his official car tyres? Where does the problem lies sir? I wouldn't want to shift blames sir, but I wish to appeal to you that you act independently so that history will smile at you someday.

GOVERNING COUNCIL MEMBERS (chaired by Mr. Niyi Akande)
I choose the word 'Governing Council Members' because it is expected to be a collective task but so unfortunate turned to a sole proprietorship over the night as such I will direct my observations to Mr. Niyi Akande ( a direct brother to Chief Bisi Akande).
Sir, it is obvious you are the ruler of the college which is meant to be a division of labour as such denying constitutional obligations of most prominent staff of the college through your dictatorship. The dis-engagement of staffs manipulated by you among other factors resulted to the genesis of the college crisis.
Even if the concerned are truly at fault with the alleged queries levied against them,Sir kindly permit me to submit by saying; 'Let he who lives without sins be the first to cast the stone'.
The alleged TETFUND project case of over Three Hundred Million Naira (#300,000,000) that involved you and other members of your committee affirmed that no one lives without sins. While I appeal with you in the Name of the Almighty to please shield your sword in the interest of the students, school and Ila community at large.
THE COLLEGE STAFF:
In fairness and sincerity to all, your passiveness, understanding cum endurance are so courageous, your pains are felt and nothing is utter-able than to appeal to you to please find a common ground in the interest of the students and the school community at large.
Distinguished readers, permit me to take us through the damages the crisis had caused us and the subsequent ones if not treated urgently;
* Prolonging expected graduating years of students on campus: Strike, no doubt unnecessarily extend the graduating years of involved students. As if that was not enough, apparently this factor is a big blow to other programmes on campus most especially the affiliated degree programmes, no wonder when the crisis isn't as heavy as this, the then Vice chancellor of the University of Uyo expressed her displeasure through the University Registrar that they couldn't run a parallel programme with ila campus as such needed to suspend the programme and this resulted to the end of the programme with the final set graduating next year 'hopefully', all thanks to Ekiti state University who signed in another contract with the college.
God forbid, the continuation of this crisis will delay the result of the just graduated NCE students part of which needed their result in continuation of their academic pursue and even affect the mobilisation of the just released successful candidates of University of Uyo. What then is the fate of the students on campus even when the graduated students are feeling the heat.
*Crippling of the economy of Ila community: it so alarming that this crisis is contributing negatively to the economy of  Ila community as a whole. It should be worthy of note that the students on campus contribute largely to the economy of the town. This is a factor that is expected to be widely considered by the provost and the governing council chairman to hasten up in the crisis resolution as an indigenous member of the town even if the interest of we the students means nothing to them.
* Devaluing the academic and non-academic standard of the college: gone are those days when OSSCE, Ila Orangun was the best college in Nigeria in all ramifications, alumnus of the college are always the best and stand out among peers. This is only achieveable in a peaceful environment where teaching and learning process would never be interrupted. The strike now took seventy percent of our semesters  and the thirty percent becomes rush for students on campus. Where then is our standard?
MY POSITION:
Over years based on my experience as a student of the college, I doubt if this hard time has for once occurred in the history of the college.
The simple poser here is, who is to be blamed?
The less than a year appointed AG. Provost or the less than three years appointed Governing council Committee or the over decades College staffs?
Hmmmmmm!!!!!! The answer might differs based on individual perspectives but so very obvious who the college main problem(s) is/are. (Nemesis dey oooooo)
I do not think this is the right time to shift blames but to be more prayerful because prayers still remain the only key to bringing peace and unity among the trio.
Sirs and Mas you all are respected fathers and mothers and I'm so convinced sacrifice isn't too much for parents to give to their children. I beg you in the Name of the Almighty to shield your swords and let peace reign for the sake and interest of our future, the community and to return the glory of our citadel of learning.
Conclusively, permit me to stress the Rotary International four way tests I earlier mentioned which I'm sure if critically digested will go a very long way on the issue at hand.
The four way test of the things we think, say or do;
1. Is it the truth?
Is the crisis the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
Is the crisis fair to we students, school and Ila community at large?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendship?
What relationship will the crisis build between the college management, staffs, governing councils, students and even the community now and subsequently?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Who is benefiting from the crisis (who the crisis EPP)? It is obvious it is not beneficial to anyone as it is a big damage to all concerned.
It is on this note I wish to drop my pen and hoping for a better OSSCE ILA ORANGUN.

God bless the worthy ones!
Thank you for your time.
